The next Asheville Movie Guys event will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, featuring a virtual discussion of "Black Panther" in honor of its recently departed star, Chadwick Boseman.

Everyone is welcome to watch the film via Disney+ or rent it through other streaming platforms prior to the event, then join us for the discussion, which will take place via a Facebook Live video feed from the Asheville Movie Guys' Facebook page. Bruce Steele and Edwin Arnaudin of AshevilleMovies.com will do their usual post-screening discussion, including behind-the-scenes details on the making of the film, then open the (digital) floor for attendees to respond. Questions may be submitted by comment within Facebook or via email to ashevillemovies@gmail.com.

There is no charge for this event. Patrons are encouraged to consider making a one-time donation of $5 or more to event co-sponsor Mountain Xpress at https://mountainx.com/community-supported-journalism to keep the paper's movie review section going while theaters are closed.
